There has been many adaption of this old anime since their manga days. The recent one was so good that we can recommend this again and again. Dorororevolves around a Ronin named Hyakkimaru (百鬼丸) and young orphan thief named Dororo (どろろ) during the Sengoku Era. The rōnin was born malformed, limbless and without facial features or internal organs.
